PG
Mikey and Gerard have a conversation shortly after Bandit's birth

Notes: Uh. One-shot drabble written in like. An hour. Unbeta'd, so if you see any glaring mistakes, holla at me.  Otherwise, none of this is real, don't take it seriously, etc etc.

Look at you. You're in love. )

or whatever. this was written for the [livejournal.com profile] no_tags challenge, and now that we've gone through with the reveal post, I figured I'd just put this up on my own journal for archival purposes or sommat.

the prompt was: Mikey/Gerard: current day, first time, secretive. and of course I took to it like...I don't even know what the correct analogy is here.

Title:
Never Look Back
Pairing: Mikey/Gerard
Rating: PG-13 for language
Disclaimer: any resemblance to real people or events is purely coincidental.
Warnings: angst, language, light description of sexual situations, implied (consensual) incest
Notes: about ten-thousand thanks to [livejournal.com profile] subcutis for reading, beta-ing, encouraging, and putting up with all my anxiety. also, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] airgiodslv for hosting the challenge in the first place.

and they talk about nothing in particular )

new endeavors?

idk.  I wrote some pr0nz. sort of. I have never written porn "for real" before. it's for that one prompt over on the MCR kinkmeme. no one else filled it so I took matters in to my own (possibly inept) hands.

seriously guys. this isn't me bashing myself for fun. I am extremely dubious of my abilities in this department and I think that I'm being super critical of myself as a result....but my (wonderful) betas tell me it's not as bad as I think it is and so. I'm posting it for your reading pleasure. enjoy!

Title: The Kind of War We’re Having Lately
Author: [livejournal.com profile] cold_clarity
Pairing: one-sided Waycest? sort of? also, Mikey/Show Pony, if you squint.
Rating: Hard R
Warnings: physical abuse, bloodplay, graphic nonconsensual sex, angst
Comments: mostly, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] normalhumanbein , [livejournal.com profile] subcutis and [livejournal.com profile] the_alliterator for reading this and listening to me whine.

and then the screen goes black )
cold_clarity: (red hair)
....that time is back. in case someone on my flist hasn't been spammed with the return of that band that knows all about Anthems to Your High School Angst, have an MCR video:

oh look. instead of working on my paintings or writing that paper I should be turning in or doing any of my math homework, I wrote bandslash fic again for the first time in years.

thanks to an extensive discussion with [livejournal.com profile] normalhumanbein (who also beat me to the punch with posting something for this insanity), I now give you some 2,000+ words of emo boys being emo in the post-apocalyptic desert of TREMENDOUSLY unbeta'd, stream-of-consciousness-in-the-bad-way writing. oh yeah. it's a red hot mess.

Title: Untitled
Rating: R
Pairing:
Frank/Gerard, Gerard/Ray, Gerard/Mikey
Summary: an AU disaster.  there was a virus.  the virus makes you crazy.  the vaccine makes you empty. this is mostly like fragments of an idea stitched together under the very very loose definition of narrative fiction.
Warnings: uh, language? mostly, just know that this was written in under 24 hours with no editing whatsoever so....don't take it too seriously or anything. really.

Mikey's memories of the hospital are terrifying but comfortable )

with a snippet of sorts?

if you like Hollis Mason, Watchmen, The Minutemen, or that other bit of Backstory Nonsense that I wrote exploring all three, then you'll probably like this.  I hope.

and if all that doesn't entice you, mayhaps the prospect of teh ghey will.

the usual rules and notes/warnings apply:
- written and posted on-the-spot. therefore, unbeta-ed
- also: ending is a crapshoot because of the writing-on-the-spot thing
- complete disregard for canon timelines
- blending of GN and movie canon
- all of this can be thought of as taking place in the universe of A Brief History of Who I Love

"Stand up, Mason, and let me welcome you into the new year." )

because when I should be taking care of responsibilities, I decide it's time to drabble.  and it's much closer to being an drabble, I promise (so...less like the things I usually post, which I call "drabbles"--but by which I really mean "unfinished bits of nothingness that are too long to be drabbles and too short to be stories HERE, HAVE A HOT MESS").

so yeah. here goes. written now with the promise to myself that I won't revise it when I finish.  so, enjoy some stream-of-consciousness-leaning scribble while I avoid packing.

Title: sibling rivalry
Rating: PG-13 for thematic...stuff
Warnings: incest (or the implications thereof)
Notes: harry potter fandom. in all truth, I probably wrote this because I've been mulling over my darkfest prompt.

I'd just like to say that I'm like a fucking machine right now.  apparently excessive posting happens when I'm trapped at home for the better part of the day (every day, for weeks and weeks and weeks...).

anyway, this time around I present you with Watchmen fic.  with specific regards to young!Hollis Mason and all the myriad ways that I believe him to be secretly tortured and repressed.

so...uh. enjoy?  mayhaps I'll get around to posting this over at [livejournal.com profile] watchdom at some point.

Title: A Brief History of Who I Love (part 1/??)
Description: speculation on the relationships and histories of the Minutemen, as told through the eyes of a one (silently suffering) Hollis Mason.
Warnings: N/A (unless a few f-bombs really disturb you)
Notes: the story employs a blending of GN!canon and movie!canon (specifically with regards to the Jon-gets-framed-as-murderer-of-millions plot point) and the general Minutemen timeline is bastardized and ignored several times over.

the title is shamelessly stolen borrowed from a literary work far greater than this one.

finally, a million thanks to [livejournal.com profile] smirnoffmule , who beta-ed this nonsense and put up with the constant voicing of all my  concerns in the meantime. I probably wouldn't have written this at all without the support.

Hollis Mason Arises from the Ashes )

Title: none
Pairing: Morgan/Reid
Warnings: none really, unless language offends you that much. and, as usual, this is hugely unbeta-ed, and tremendously fragmentary.
Notes:  for [livejournal.com profile] luckinfovely , who requested:
1. Reid cheating
2. Morgan and Reid's biggest fight.

...I'm not sure this succeeds in fulfilling either of those.  here's hoping.

There are a million ways this could have ended )
cold_clarity: (Default)
and they're things for [livejournal.com profile] luckinfovely no less! because I keep my promises...sort of?

anyway, this is total drabble. I promised a scene, but this is more like a segment than a scene. or something. I've also apparently attempted to make sure it makes as little sense as possible. I don't think I even tried to reach for linearity or hint at any sort of context.

I'll just be off drowning myself in a toilet.

onward to the writings! )

Hourglass

cold_clarity: (Default)
Title: Hourglass
Summary: Immortality isn't the same as eternity
Pairing: Jack Sparrow/James Norrington
Notes/Warnings: Written for [livejournal.com profile] miserablefaith's prompt: Norrington/Jack and hourglasses. Post-AWE (so spoilers, I guess?); some angst. Slightly AU because of the nature of the fic. (Just reposting this to the new journal)
